DIVORCE & CONFIDENCE COACHING
You Rebuilt Your Life. Now What About Your Money?

The part nobody puts on a vision board
Divorce forces you to talk about a lot of things. Custody. Grief. Identity. Boundaries.
Money is usually the one people avoid the longest.
Maybe you went from two incomes to one. Maybe you never built your own financial identity in the first place. Maybe you are starting to wonder how you actually want to earn a living now that this chapter looks different.
You are allowed to think about money without feeling shallow, greedy or ungrateful. Financial stability is not the opposite of healing. For a lot of women, it is part of it.
If money is one of the things you’re thinking about right now, I’ve created a few practical resources to help. Whether you’re starting from scratch, thinking about building a business or already have something you’re working on, you can find them all on the Resources page.
Financial fear doesn’t mean financial failure
Feeling nervous about money after divorce is not proof that you can’t handle it.
It usually just means you’re paying attention.
Maybe you’re looking at your bank account differently for the first time in years. Maybe you’re realising how much of your old life ran on someone else’s income, or someone else’s decisions.
That discomfort is information, not a verdict. It’s telling you it’s time to build something that belongs entirely to you.
You don’t need a business degree to build something
One of the quietest lies divorced women carry is that building an income is something other people do. People with degrees. People with connections. People who started years ago.
That’s not true anymore.
Tools that used to require a team or a technical background are now available to anyone willing to learn them. You don’t need to reinvent yourself completely. You need one skill, one offer, and one small, honest start.
Starting small is still starting
You don’t have to quit anything, announce anything, or have a five-year plan.
You just have to take the next step that’s actually in front of you: learning the tool, writing the first offer, sending the first message.
Small, consistent action is how every option you eventually rely on gets built. Nobody starts with certainty. They start with a next step.
What building something of your own actually gives you
It’s never really just about the money.
It’s about knowing that if something changed again tomorrow, you would have something of your own to stand on.
It’s about making decisions from stability instead of fear. It’s about teaching your children, by example, what it looks like to keep building even after everything falls apart.
That’s worth learning how to do, one practical step at a time.
