You’re about to be whisked away on a journey of romance and joy like no other with today’s real wedding. In Dublin’s fair city on a beautiful October day, Laura and Jordan wed in their own spectacular way. The couple planned their wedding in the heart of Dublin in a matter of months and the style was next-level chic from the bow-centric bridal style to all-white bouquets. The couple exchanged vows in the ornate surrounds of Dublin City Hall with a party-starter pit-stop at The Rag Trader and a refined, candle-lit reception at Fallon & Byrne which is a foodies paradise. Breathtakingly captured by award-winning photographer Claire Byrne Photography, feast on the splendour below.

Read all about it! The couple’s stunning wedding day included wedding newspapers which is a sweet trend we can’t get enough of right now. They are a great way to get creative with your wedding day info, throw in a few games, and tell your love story in the most unique way possible

Laura and Jordan met outside a chipper when they were kids. Sweetly, they live close to the fateful spot today. As for their engagement Laura tell us, “As a couple who said we’d never get married, we were always OK with it never being us. The house and the baby was what was important. One day on our usual Phoenix Park walk with our son Jordan went down on one knee I nearly died. It was never part of our plan but in the end I’m so glad it was part of his.”

The bride rented a big bus for her whole family to travel to Dublin City Hall together. “It was absolutely perfect.”

The flower girls wore adorable head-to-toe ensembles from Next while Laura’s sister was an elegant vision in a cream Victoria Beckham gown.

Laura and Jordan wanted to get married very quickly so they rang all their loved ones to find a Saturday in Dublin that year that suited. “We got engaged in April, married in October – we gave everyone six weeks’ notice. We can’t believe how many showed from all corners of the world (especially our flower girl Pippa) and how our families rose to the challenge – just incredible and shows how brilliant we have it!”

They were joined by the most special VIP, their baby son Georgie Anthony Farry, who changed their lives forever when he was welcomed into the world on January 4th, 2023. “He’s the best thing we’ve ever gone halves on.”

Dublin City Hall is an architectural masterpiece with an ornate gold-leaf dome, it is a breathtaking location to say yes to forever.

The couple toasted to their happily ever right after exchanging vows. “The Art of Bubbles allowed us have our first dance etc. but keep everyone hydrated.”

The bride was utterly enchanting in a column dress by Solace London with a sculptural asymmetrical ruched neckline which gathered in a bow at the back which descended into a beautiful train. She styled her magical midi to perfection with Jimmy Choo heels and delicate jewellery.

Sauve groom Jordan wore the slickest three-piece suit from Louis Copeland & Sons.

Matching Jordan and Georgie’s style was a key focus and their baby boy rocked a tailored set from Mamas & Papas with a customised jacket with ‘Best Man Georgie’ embroidered on the back. The mother of the bride absolutely dazzled in a gold sequin dress by Rotate.

We can’t get enough of this gorgeous couple.

Having their family and friends join them after their first dance to A Rainy Night in Soho by The Pogues was their favourite memory from their wedding day and will stay with them forever.

Looking for bridal coat inspiration? After the ceremony, the couple took to the streets for an uber-romantic photoshoot and the bride donned a fabulous animal print coverup.

The bride reflects on their love story, “In the summer of 2009, Jordan told a small white lie—claiming to be older than Laura—after she dismissed him with, ‘You’re too young for me.’ Fifteen years later, this couple has journeyed through many of life’s big milestones together. From Junior Cert to wedding vows, one thing has always been clear: this day was destined.”

As for why they chose their venues? Because they’re two proud Dubs!

They kicked off the celebration at The Rag Trader and the feeling of joy was infectious.

“For those who follow tradition, it may seem they did things ‘out of order’—house and baby before marriage. But ask them, and they wouldn’t change a thing,” they say. “In a fast-paced world, there’s something undeniably special about a couple who have grown up together, achieved so much, and never wavered in their love and commitment. From that cheeky first fib to the beautiful reality of their life together, Laura and Jordan prove that the best things in life don’t always follow the rules—and are all the better for it.”

For those planning an intimate urban wedding in Dublin, Fallon & Byrne offers a breathtakingly chic setting with fabulous food and the couple opted to have their reception in The Wine Cellar with a refined approach to the table settings allowing the rustic vibe shine bright.

We’ve firmly entered the era of the wedding wardrobe and those looking for ways to transform their look during a chic city celebration can glean oodles of inspiration from our fabulous real bride.

That’s because Laura didn’t just deliver one breathtaking bridal style moment, she changed into a sweet playsuit with pleated shorts by Irish designer Anna Darcy Couture for the reception which she styled with a divine bow hairpiece and Jimmy Choo bow heels.

Enjoy every minute and do it your own way, the couple say when it comes to wedding planning. “It’s magic and everyone shows up for you! (P.S. shotgun weddings despite 16 years should be the way forward).”

The couple jetted off with their baby boy for loads of fun in the sun in Lanzarote straight after the wedding.
