We recently saw a really interesting map showing the relative hours of sunshine across Ireland and although we’d always known that Wexford was the heart of Ireland’s “Sunny South East” – it was astonishing to see it depicted in black and white just how much sunnier it really is than anywhere else with an average of 1411 hours of sunshine per year.
So for those planning a summer wedding in Ireland, Wexford would seem the natural place to start looking for that special wedding venue, especially if you’re dreaming of an outdoor ceremony. Not only that but it has amazing options for every style of wedding, from country houses and castles, to intimate barn venues and hotels for larger celebrations. We’ve rounded up a great list of the best Wexford wedding venues here.
