This April wedding featured a vibrant Spring color palette. Though many colors could be found in the florals, pink, blue, and green were the standout hues of the day.

This wedding design was inspired by the season. Spring was celebrated with whimsical floral designs, vintage floral prints, and even faux butterflies in the cocktail hour centerpieces.

“On December 30th, 2022, Curran surprised me with a horse-drawn sleigh ride at Bears Ranch in Durango, Colorado, near his family’s mountain home. As the sleigh glided toward a stunning frozen lake, Curran guided us out to take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Then, in the quiet serenity of the moment, Curran slowly got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was cold, but I hardly noticed as I slipped off my glove for him to place the ring on my finger. On the ride back to the ranch, we celebrated with champagne and captured the joy of the occasion with photos, thanks to the photographer Curran had thoughtfully arranged. As we returned, I was completely overwhelmed to find both my family and Curran’s waiting to congratulate us—such a heartfelt surprise. It was truly a magical and unforgettable day.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Kim Click at Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon in Dallas, Texas, to find my dream wedding dress. I envisioned something traditional, featuring Chantilly lace, yet ethereal with a hint of subtle sparkle. That vision came to life when I discovered the Anne gown by Maria Farbinni. The moment I put it on, the intricate details and overall aesthetic reminded me of my mother’s wedding dress from April 1983, and I knew instantly it was the one. The gown featured a timeless fit-and-flare silhouette with a sweetheart neckline, and I chose to elevate the look with a custom lace overskirt for the ceremony. This thoughtful addition by Maria Farbinni allowed me to showcase two distinct looks throughout the day. To complete my bridal ensemble, I selected the ivory Jimmy Choo Saeda pumps, which paired beautifully with the gown, adding the perfect finishing touch.”

“Since we had a spring outdoor wedding near the coast, I chose light blue as the focal color to seamlessly complement the sky, florals, and ocean backdrop. I collaborated with Bella Bridesmaids in the Dallas Design District to select the perfect Amsale gowns for my bridesmaids in a stunning sky-blue shade. The dresses were elegant, and each of my bridesmaids looked beautiful!”

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]”Curran collaborated with Suit Supply in Dallas to design a custom-made tuxedo, featuring his initials and our wedding date elegantly embroidered on the inside. He completed his look with Allen Edmonds tuxedo shoes, Texas flag cufflinks, and his grandfather’s vintage Rolex Presidential watch—a meaningful and special touch for our wedding day. The groomsmen complemented his style by renting their tuxedos from The Black Tux.”[/field]

Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course plated dinner. The grilled “Prime” New York steak was the crowd favorite. After getting out on the dance floor, Late-Night Bites were served alongside a tray passed espresso martinis to keep the party going!

After a rainy morning, the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. Vibrant color-blocked flowers made up a lush floral aisle and arch. Having just been rained on, the flowers seemed to be brighter than ever! Walking into Montecito Club’s ballroom was an awe-filled moment. Tons of wisteria flowers hung down from the large chandeliers, hovering over the shimmering blue tables, and a dance floor with Hollie & Curran’s monogram. Linens, chairs, and table settings from Theoni elevated the ballroom and brought the couple’s design vision to life. The table settings had napkins customized with the couple’s monogram, and water colored menus graced the plates.

The cake was another monogram moment. Baked by Lelé Pâtisserie, the four-tiered cake was a work of art inside and out. The monogram was meticulously piped on the front, and the Tyler Speier Events floral team garnished it with lovely florals. The tiers alternated between two flavors, Double Chocolate Cake filled with Raspberry Swirl and Vanilla Bean Cake filled with Strawberry Swirl, both frosted with Vanilla Bean meringue buttercream.

This Spring wedding took place at The Montecito Country Club, showing off its dreamy ocean view at the ceremony and a romantic ballroom full of florals at the reception. Setting up this wedding was quite the adventure – we had an unexpected rainstorm roll in that morning, and it rained right up until it was time for the ceremony to start! Thankfully, the sun came out just in time for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The day was captured by the talented Shannon Skloss, who used the rainy morning to take the most vogue photos! Colorful florals by our TSE team, luxury rentals from Theoni, and custom paper goods by Katherine Jezek Designs and K Designs, all made for a beautiful wedding. Despite the rain, the day went so smoothly, thanks to our peaceful, joyful, and flexible team of vendors!
