Mill Farm Wedding Ideas
One wild wedding styled shoot was organised and shot by Happy Moments Co. In the heart of Cambridgeshire, England, Carrieanne has transformed her passion for storytelling into a thriving wedding photography business.
The location known as Mill Farm was the perfect wedding venue to create starting from a blank canvas, and all the comforts from onsite stylish and modern accommodation to a field of glamping pods and new open barn facilities with a backdrop of country. This place is the festival vibes couples are searching for.
This shoot featured Dionne and Ali, a real model couple whose genuine connection translates effortlessly on camera. They bring a relaxed, natural chemistry to the shoot.
The groom’s coloured outfit with a flowered tie and pocket square to match the style of the wild wedding in the country was supplied by Chimney Formal Menswear of Bassingbourn. And Chimney Menswear has over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry.
The dress was supplied by Annabel Sarah Bridal, a multi-award-winning boutique in Warwickshire. The gown worn in the vehicle is AZIEL by Rosa Clará and brought elegance to the shoot.
Dionne’s bridal makeup was created by Masonic Makeup, a specialist in soft, glamorous bridal looks. Based in Cambridgeshire, Masonic Makeup is known for delivering effortlessly radiant, long-lasting makeup.
The vintage wedding vehicle was called Lottie, a stunning 1968 Triumph Herald convertible that oozes retro style and glamour. It was a real treat to have at the shoot.
Kate the hair stylist, said:
Dionne has the most beautiful hair so I really wanted to work with it whilst incorporating the exquisite porcelain flower accessories. So I braided the front across her face to make a hairband. Holding the hair back to show the earrings. For the second look, I softly pinned the hair into a loose bun and finished the look with the porcelain flowers.
Beth the wedding stylist listened to the shoot goals and vision and really brought the idea dream to life, with blush colours and a minimal romantic candle set up working alongside the florist. She’s the vendor every couple needs.
Ophelia Ren Bridal provided the finishing touches to Dionne’s look with a pair of statement earrings and floral headpiece. Specialising in handcrafted designs made from lightweight clay, Ophelia Ren Bridal offers exquisite floral accessories for brides seeking a touch of elegance and variety on their special day. The collection includes hairpieces, floral crowns, earrings, and boutonnieres and are customisable to suit any colour palette.
Lucy, from The Stable Blooms, skillfully selected seasonal blooms to complement the planned vibe of the shoot. In collaboration with Fiona at Pulvertoft Flowers, she crafted arrangements that captured a light, whimsical, and rustic country charm. Lucy designed a stunning meadow box made from chicken wire and a reusable container, filled with beautiful blooms that adorned the vintage wedding vehicle, Lottie.
Later, the arrangement was moved to the table, accompanied by additional bud vases, creating varying heights and adding visual interest. Lucy also created the enchanting bridal bouquet, Dionne, featuring the show-stopping dahlias and garden roses. The flowers truly brought the shoot to life, tying everything together beautifully.
What a feast for the eyes!
