Let’s get to know our bride… Sarah met the love of her life in college. She tells us, “We actually lived across from each other in the dorms but didn’t start dating until junior year.” He chose a breathtaking location to pop the question, Positano in Italy! “It was very romantic, private, and perfect,” Sarah reminisces.
Sarah says that she is “still developing” her personal style but we don’t think she has any work left to do – it’s absolutely fabulous. While she usually tends to love trying out new trends, when it came to her wedding day wardrobe she wanted her look to be timeless, effortless and elegant. She bought most of her looks online and she searched Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest for inspiration.
First up in her breathtaking bridal wardrobe is the Primrose dress by Rosie Etienne which is crafted from tulle and adorned with hundreds of hand-placed 3D flowers.
“My mom threw me the sweetest bridal shower in my hometown. I wore this gorgeous dress that was gifted to me from the brand.”
Dazzling destination hen party style incoming! For her sun-kissed celebration in Miami, the bride-to-be sizzled in a series of stylish ensembles including an organza floral lace Fleur du Mal bustier which she paired with a pretty pleated mini skort by I AM GIA.
“I definitely used this event to indulge in the current trends and had so much fun putting together each look.”
She rounded up her flawless hen do wardrobe in sparkling style with a diamante and pearl-dappled co-ord from Poster Girl.
To kickstart the wedding festivities, the glowing bride wore one of her favourite ensembles, a custom two-piece set from Etsy designer Carbis Atelier UA which comprised of a satin corset with delicate peek-a-boo lace and a sleek pearl alongside a floral lace skirt with a scalloped hem.
“I sent her inspo and she executed amazingly! The bag is Anthropologie and the shoes are Zara.”
The couple tied the knot on a sun-kissed day at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California. The bride began the happiest day of her life in luxurious style wearing a bridal slip crafted from Japanese Valentino silk by Cherie Attire with lace accents, a diaphanous bridal robe from Macy’s and her fluffy slippers from Amazon were the sweetest finishing touch.
“Everything was a wear once and resell type of outfit. There are lots of accessories and smaller items that I’ll be saving for my future daughter, though!”
Utterly spellbinding! It was love at first sight for Sarah when she saw the Grace Dress by Lihi Hod at NWLA Bridal in Santa Monica.
“My goal for my wedding day looks was to be effortless, timeless, and elegant. I fell in love with it and knew it was the one immediately when I tried it on with my mom.”
She styled her downright divine dress with a veil dappled with romantic floral lace also by Lihi Hod and heels from Bella Belle.
“My wedding shoes, earrings and veil really pulled my look together I’d say.”
She wasn’t planning to do a second dress look but everything changed when she discovered the Cecelia Gown by Katherine Tash. She was a bridal bombshell in the strapless silk crepe gown with an effortlessly elegant and curve-celebrating silhouette.
“I bought my second look from Still White! I loved it in-store and then came across a listing of a girl selling hers for 50% off retail. I bought it, took it to the tailor and it fit like a glove.”
For a recovery pool day the morning after their wedding, Sarah dazzled in a cut-out coverup by Cin Cin which boasted floral gold hardware.
The couple kept the celebrations going with their honeymoon in Mallorca, Spain, and Porto in Portugal.
“We left for our honeymoon two full days after the wedding. Itwas the perfect time to leave in my opinion! I wanted to take advantage of the fact that I had fresh hair, brows, lashes, nails, tan, wax, botox, etc. We also wanted it to feel like a honeymoon and not just another vacation!”
She also donned a flirty bandeau mini dress with a drop waist by Resa.
Then came her breezy linen set by Donni. with a bandeau top and complementing slouchy trousers.
“Don’t stress, it will all come together in the end and you’ll look amazing! Over order, you can always return whatever doesn’t work out. If you see something you like, order it because anything bridal sells out soo incredibly fast, especially on Revolve.“
