[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Soft sage, light blush, cream, beige, light grey[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
Our wedding vibe and vision was a modern garden romance with whimsical features. We wanted the greenery to pop, so we wanted very soft florals to draw in the romance and pair perfectly with the autumn tones at the venue.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]My husband proposed on a Monday night as the sun was setting in old town Alexandria on the cobblestone road. He’s brother took photos of the proposal and then we went to dinner where my family and friends surprised me. I had no idea it was happening until I saw his brother behind a tree right before Matt got down on one knee! It was such a memorable evening! [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
The bride wore a Neta Porter wedding gown and changed into a jumpsuit for the reception!
[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaid dresses were all silk champagne with different styles so that each bridesmaid felt confident in choosing what they preferred![/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]
We chose champagne ties to match the bridesmaid dresses, and the groomsmen were dressed in classic black.

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]We had a charcuterie board and chicken and waffles followed by steak frites, mushroom ravoli, or stuffed chicken with brussel sprouts and roasted potatoes. Had a late night French fry bar and cupcakes. Open bar with 2 signature drinks including espresso martinis! [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
We had a whimsical bouquet of mostly whites and creams with pops of taupe and pale rose with no greens. Light and airy florals that we repurposed as our centerpieces. Then, we had greenery around light fixtures and beams. We had a monochromatic table scape with slight variations of whites and creams.
[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
We had an embossed white cake with custom wedding crest on a maybe velvet linen table cloth. We also had 4 different flavored cupcakes.
[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
Our first dance song was Millionaire by Chris Stapleton, sung by members of our band, Blue Label Band.
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
We opted for a free-standing arch to greet guests with a welcome sign featuring our newly minted last name, “The DeWitts”.
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]For cocktail hour, we greeted guests with a champagne wall! Each flute featured a frosted escort drink stirrer with the quote “Forever After All” by Luke Combs. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]
We ended our reception with a bubble exit with all of our guests! It was the perfect way to end the most beautiful day, celebrating our marriage with our loved ones.
