The wedding’s color palette blended soft pastels with dusky accents, paired with natural wood elements for warmth and touches of gold for an extra touch of sophistication and sparkle.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The couple envisioned a celebration that felt original, romantic yet modern, and luxurious yet not over the top, all while embracing the natural beauty and character of their venue. In the evening, the couple wanted to infuse sophistication and glamour.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]
Chloe and Mathieu have a pretty singular story: they met in school about 20 years ago, but were never available at the same time. They drifted apart yet always stayed in touch via email. Chloe got married and had a little boy, then they separated. This is when the pair reunited. Shortly after Mathieu moved to San Francisco, they bought a house together, married at City Hall in San Francisco, all the while adding a baby girl to their family. I have rarely met a couple so in love with each other and with the family they created together. It was important to them to celebrate their love by throwing a memorable celebration with their closest people, and they went above and beyond to create an unforgettable weekend for their families and friends!

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
Chloe chose Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier for her wedding gown, a beautiful nod to her Filipino heritage. The dress gracefully combined romantic lines with modern details, such as the removable sleeves. Its delicate leaf pattern added a unique, non-traditional touch that perfectly worked with the venue’s natural surroundings, the bride’s style, and the overall desired feel of the day.

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]
Early in the planning, the bride shared the wedding color palette with her bridesmaids, allowing each to choose their dress color. This created a beautifully harmonious blend of hues, moving away from traditional matching dresses and giving her bridesmaids the freedom to select a color that suited them best.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]
The celebration embraced a traditional French timeline, with food and drinks flowing throughout. During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed an array of seasonal one-bite canapés served on trays while four chefs brought the experience to life with interactive stations. Each station featured a distinct specialty—Serrano ham, truffle pizza, seaside plancha, and fresh mozzarella—prepared live in front of the guests, adding a delightful element of entertainment. Dinner began with aoats cheese ice cream & gaspacho starter, elevated by waiters pouring the freshly prepared gaspacho tableside, adding an extra touch of personalized service. A delicious main course followed, with dishes adapted to each guest’s preferences. As the couple was excited to kick off dancing outside in front of the château—while mindful of the outdoor music time restrictions—we presented the choux tower on the dance floor immediately after the main course and launched the music without delay. Guests were shortly after treated to choux served on elegant giant tiered trays placed on the tables, allowing them to enjoy these traditional French pastries “grab & go” style while dancing. No luxury wedding is complete without a bespoke cocktail bar. Our partners at Bar Events crafted exquisite signature cocktails for every moment of the day and evening, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to delight all guests.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
We love working with couples who embrace original design, and alongside our talented partners, La Blonde et Le Barbu Design, we crafted a stunning mood board featuring impactful ceremony decor, unique cocktail hour details, and understated yet luscious dinner styling. For the ceremony, the couple wanted to highlight the venue’s natural beauty rather than overpower it. We set the stage by the château’s serene pond, framing the magnificent cypress trees with a custom-designed hollow arch. This round, enveloping structure the celebrant could stand into added depth and originality, while perfectly framing the breathtaking view of the cypresses and the steps leading to the French gardens. The meandering aisle, adorned with organic florals, enhanced the natural, non-traditional aesthetic the couple envisioned. At cocktail hour, we introduced conversational design elements like striking head vases. The pool house columns flanking the gardens were adorned with climbing foliage and blooms, creating a cohesive and inviting space. For the dinner, the floral decor embodied whimsy, elegance, and timeless charm with a modern edge. Foliage and candles were suspended above the tables and dance floor, casting a magical glow, while the tables themselves featured airy, romantic arrangements in classic vases. The top table stood out with cascading florals draping gracefully on either side. The stationery played a key role in tying the design together. Unique pieces included die-cut acrylic signage inspired by the day’s floral palette, custom-printed petal pouches for the ceremony send-off, and luxurious menus encased in floral-patterned embossed sleeves. The menus featured a gold-foil calligraphy quote carried through from the invitations to the wedding website, creating a beautifully cohesive narrative.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
For their wedding cake, Chloe and Mathieu opted for a classic French croquembouche, but of course, we made it extra special with a towering 4-foot design! The custom order also featured green and white sugar coating and personalized flavors tailored to the couple’s preferences. The cake was presented to the couple immediately after dinner, then carefully dismantled and served on grand tiered trays placed on the tables, allowing guests to indulge while remaining on the dance floor!

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
To ensure every guest felt warmly welcomed, great care went into curating the thoughtful welcome baskets. These included local delicacies such as a bottle of rosé for sipping, Provençal calissons for a sweet treat, herb-scented almonds for a savory snack, as well as a QR-coded magnet linking to the couple’s Spotify playlist, a piece of nougat – honoring the groom’s grandmother’s tradition of hospitality, a “I regret nothing” care pouch full with vitamins and eye masks, along with an itinerary to keep everyone well informed on each part of the multi-day celebration.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
After 11 pm, the dancing moved indoors. The transition to the after-party space, just a short walk from the dinner area, became an experience in itself. Guests strolled along a glowing pathway of LED arches dotted with fantastical stilt performers who captivated everyone and made for unforgettable photo opportunities. At the after-party area, cozy lounge seating awaited alongside a lavish dessert buffet—a perfect way to recharge for the festivities ahead. A DJ flown in from Lebanon set the tone for an electrifying night, filling the dance floor with high energy. Signature cocktails, champagne, and a whisky bar were available all night. With pizza being our groom’s favorite comfort food, we arranged a pizza stall near the shuttle parking area. Freshly boxed in custom-designed pizza boxes, the pizzas ensured every guest had a chance to enjoy one last bite before heading to sleep, so no one went to bed hungry.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]
Every printed detail for Chloe & Mathieu’s wedding was bespoke, crafted with exceptional attention to detail and an array of artisanal techniques—including gold foil, letterpress, embossing, and die-cutting—showcased on a variety of materials, including acrylic and suede leather. Our talented designer, Veronica Halim, perfectly captured the couple’s vision, creating a stationery suite that was equal parts elegant, romantic, and modern. It left such an impression that several guests admitted to rethinking their outfit choices after receiving the stunning invitations, realising they were about to attend a one-of-a-kind celebration!

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]
We love creating opportunities for guests to be involved in whatever way in the day, to be active participants in the event. For Chloe & Mathieu’s wedding, we imagined a seating plan made with floating candles. As they moved from cocktail to dinner, guests passed by a floating candles wall and could grab and release their floating candle in the pond. This was a lovely way to engage the guests and also made for a beautiful light display after sunset!
