When LeAnna + Colton met in San Diego, they had both been to and loved Spain. It wasn’t long before they traveled there together, showing each other their favorite places in the country. Eager to share that experience with their loved ones too, a destination wedding was a no brainer. Planning team Dos Santas + florist Estudio Sauvage helped them bring their vision for a relaxed, intimate vibe with a splash of modern design to life with lemons, yellow flowers, and artistic details. If you’re a fan of the latest wedding trends, their draped fabric arch and custom painted table cloths are just a few details you’ll love. A Destination Wedding in Barcelona – Their Story
“It all started with a simple Bumble message: “happy new year :)” was all I said to Colton. Little did we know, that message was all it would take to spark what would turn into a long and loving partnership.
We had met a few days before the 2021 New Year in sunny San Diego, bonding over music, film, the outdoors, and photography. By the end of our first year of dating, we moved to Portland, OR for work, and made this city our new home.
Eager to travel post-pandemic, a trip to Spain was planned. We both had been before, but never together. Colton was excited to show me the magic of Mallorca. Solitude. Quiet. Old-world architecture. Coastlines, sunshine, and food that San Diego couldn’t even touch on.
I was excited to show him Barcelona and Madrid, with windy streets and cute shops and cafes around every corner. This trip to Spain ignited a passion for shared travel, and we knew we had to come back to this country for a special occasion—and what’s more special than our wedding? It was an easy decision to have our intimate celebration here, and we couldn’t wait to share the place that we love with our closest family and friends.”
Better & Co. created their modern stationery and signage, and hand-painted this cream tablecloth with swaths of white and romantic calligraphed messages.
The bride complemented her modern wedding gown with a minimalist but sculptural green bouquet.
Fresh lemons, yellow flowers, ceramic vases, and modern lamps made up this chic tablescape design.
A few beautiful portraits for this photography loving couple…
Love these fresh jewel tones as a moody pop of color against all the cheery yellow.
Congratulations to LeAnna + Colton!
