Emma & Jason’s wedding film set in gorgeous Galway has it all! Emma is Galwegian and Jason was born in Canada but raised in Iceland. They live in Brighton which is where their love story began when Emma, who is an optometrist, tested Jason’s eyes in 2018. Jason popped the question in a breathtaking location in Iceland, in front of Gljúfrabúi waterfall – talk about magical! The couple dreamt of tying the knot in an outdoor ceremony on a sun-kissed June day. They chose the enchanting Glenlo Abbey, the five-star wedding venue which sits on the shores of Lough Corrib and blends old-world charm and contemporary elegance. We’re so excited for you to see all magic of their celebration which was captured beautifully by From a complete stranger.
While it rained the entire week before their wedding, the sun shone splendidly on their happiest day. They exchanged vows in a deeply personal ceremony in the walled garden where they married their culture beautifully. Officiated by Alison Driscoll of Bespoke Words, their ceremony included sweet rituals such as a hand fasting and a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony. There are so many summer wedding ideas you’ll want to steal from the delicate yet romantically wild blooms by Willow Florals to their chic audio guest book, a fabulous confetti photo and sparklers at sundown. The food was utterly scrumptious too which included a gorgeous wedding cake made by the bride’s aunt and a midnight feast of peking duck!
