The couple wanted color to shine in their design, with heavy use of pink, orange, blue, yellow, and natural greenery.

Sadie & Trevor wanted the natural beauty of Sadie’s grandparent’s farm to shine. The wildflower look of the ceremony grew up from the ground down the aisle and up the tree in the ceremony field. This colorful palette remained in the tented reception with the addition of different colored linens, floral arrangements, and greenery. The tent also had an arched entrance for guests to walk through when entering the tent from cocktail hour.

Sadie & Trevor got engaged back in December at Papa’s bridge (pictured in submission), also on the farm. Being high school sweethearts, Sadie & Trevor had visited the farm several times as a couple & with friends when growing up. It’s only fitting that both their engagement & wedding both took place here!

Sadie found her dress at Anthropologie Weddings and added sleeves to it during alterations. With it, she wore nude Louboutin flats. The night before, Sadie had worn a pink bow midi dress from MME.MINK with a pink MME.MINK bow purse to match.

The couple had three options for dinner for their guests to choose from via a food truck. Lobster Rolls, Pizza (Straight from the pizza oven), and street tacos. The custom build-out bar had a selection of beer, wine, champagne, and two signature cocktails. For dessert, guests could choose between gelato, wedding cake, or both!

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
As mentioned above, Sadie & Trevor chose a color-forward route for their decorations & florals. The tent featured rattan lanterns hanging, blue & white rental couches & chairs around the dance floor, bamboo chairs at the ceremony & reception, a floral arch entrance, lights surrounding cocktail area, a mirror seating chart, a vintage inspired cake with cherries, a checkered dance floor, menus shaped like food trucks with each guest’s name on it, and a vintage truck as the guest book with family photographs & heirlooms.

The wedding cake was vintage-inspired, with cherries bordering it.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
Sadie walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Edelweiss from The Sound of Music. The father of the groom was Sadie & Trevor’s bible teacher growing up, and he performed their ceremony. Their first dance song was L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole. One special detail to note is that since the farm is located in Tennessee, the planner team brought out hats for guests on the dance floor that said “On a Tennessee Saturday Night” when the DJ played Dixieland Delight.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
The venue has so much significance to Sadie & Trevor. Sadie got ready at her grandparent’s house that morning with her family & bridesmaids. The front room (where she gets dressed) has photos of family members at their weddings, baby pictures, and other valuable trinkets that have been passed on for generations. The area where the tent was placed is called “Sadie’s Grove” because it’s where she had dreamed of getting married. This farm is where Sadie’s dad grew up, so it was a very sentimental day for her family.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]
The guest book was placed on a vintage black truck in the cocktail area. On the back of the truck was a wooden chest made by Sadie’s great-grandfather when she was born. On her 18th birthday, each grandchild gets to search for a letter written by Papa somewhere in the chest. That letter is pictured taped to the lid of the chest, and guests wrote advice & notes to the couple before entering the cocktail hour. This great-grandfather is the same one that built Papa’s bridge, where Sadie & Trevor got engaged!

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]To finish the night off with a bang, the DJ played “Burning Love” by Elvis Presley as Sadie & Trevor rode through sparklers on the back of Sadie’s uncle’s fire truck. At the end of the line of guests, a surprise firework show went off. It was amazing![/field]
