Wedding News & Ideas We’re Crushing On This Month

1. Mini-Me Wedding Style
Needle & Thread has dropped its first Baby Collection and we cannot stop cooing over how sweet it is. Ranging from 3 to 24 months, it features signature florals, ruffles and sparkles in soft cotton, chiffon and baby-safe sequin designs in pastel shades that are perfect for summer celebrations. Not only that but each dress comes in multiple colourways, with coordinating 100% cotton bloomers, edged with frills.
The kids range goes from 3 to 12 years old, so this new addition for the littlest ones means you can dress a whole bridal party in matching dresses – or have a matching mummy-and-me moment. Check out the whole collection here and shop it online at needleandthread.com.

2. River Island’s Bridal Edit
The high street hero has dropped a new bridal collection brimming with stylish and budget-friendly pieces for every kind of wedding event.
From the hen party to the honeymoon, there are dreamy dresses to choose from including flirty puff ball minis and corset midis. Florals bloom in many beautiful ways, from dainty petals to exaggerated 3D flowers – a huge bridal trend. The separates are sublime too, ranging from sleek tailoring to ruffle bardot crop tops. If you’re searching for a beautiful bridal coat the floral jacquard trench will wow. You’ll also find cute accessories to add the perfect finishing touch to your bridal ensembles as well.

3. Wedding Idea: Waste Not Want Not Florals
Planning on having tons of gorgeous blooms on your day but don’t know what to do with them after? We love this sweet Waste Not Want Not floral idea which we spotted by Made by Wood & Wood to encourage your guests to bring home your florals.
Simply set up a wrapping station near your reception exit, maybe repurposing the cake table after it’s been cut or alongside your card/gift table. Add a sign like the above and provide wrapping paper, natural twine, scissors and mason jars if you want to make it easier for your guests to carry.
Your wedding florist may be able to provide this for you, but if not, make sure they know you’d like to do this. Flowers already arranged in little vases on the table will be the easiest to pick up, wrap and go. This way your guests can take home the beautifully wrapped flowers as wedding favours – a double win.

4. Bobbi Brown’s New YouTube Series
Iconic MUA, author, hotelier and all-round beauty legend, Bobbi Brown, has launched a new YouTube series, I Am Me. In 10 eight- to 12-minute episodes, Bobbi speaks with a variety of high-profile names on the subject of confidence and beauty to celebrate Women’s History Month in the US.
The series kicked off with activist Gloria Steinem, and other guests include actress Brooke Shields, comedian, Zarna Garg, and Peloton owner, Ally Love as Bobbi chats with them about how to enhance natural beauty effortlessly, inspire and boost confidence and learn how to live your authentic life on your own terms.
Loved and recommended by our very own beauty editor Laura Bermingham, the series started at the in March and a new episode lands every Thursday on Bobbi’s Jones Road Beauty channel on YouTube.
